Great Tagalong Tour
We recently took part in an 8 day Tagalong Tour with Pindan Tours taking in Googs Track, Gawler Ranges and the Mt Ive station tracks. Norm was a very knowledgeable and patient 4WD trip leader offering driving advice as and when required. His wife Coralie has an encyclopaedic knowledge of plant species which was a bonus us for us given much of the area was carpeted in wildflowers after the recent late winter rains and we had countless opportunities to explore and learn about the different plants. Over the course of the trip we got to experience a wide range of driving conditions including soft sand dunes, rocky tracks, mud and gravel. Norm carried the back up gear and equipment to cater for all eventualities and put together an itinerary which packed maximum sightseeing and driving value in each day with plenty of stops for photo opportunities. We had the option of some bush camping along with basic hotel/station accommodation each night based on our preference. A very enjoyable trip which gave us the chance to see a range of interesting areas off the main tourist tracks with an experienced and capable local operator.
